How much do you know about Comfort International Brasil? We were delighted to welcome CIB Director Sarah Sena to our Scotland Offices in March, and she can tell you all about the work going on in Brazil.
“We started Comfort International Brazil in 2015, after Pedro Alvim visited Rwanda in 2013, and motivated us all to get involved with the beautiful stories of transformation that he told.
The work in Brazil depends on a team of very dedicated volunteers and very generous sponsors. Despite our currency being very weak just now, we know that every single person and donor is bringing their best.”
“To visit the offices of our organisation in Scotland for the second time was a great joy. I was able to catch up with people that I got to know in Rwanda in 2016, I spoke with our partners in Africa, learned many different ways of working, was very warmly welcomed and shared about how Comfort International Brazil has been working.”
“My dream is to take all of the volunteers and sponsors from Brazil to personally get to know the projects in Rwanda, Congo, Burundi and South Sudan, but it is a very expensive investment these days. However, I hope that every year they can feel closer to the projects that they help, and that they can all understand how incredible Comfort International is.”
“Our motivation is being an organisation that depends on people that love the cause, and that dedicate themselves to the benefit of others, and following the transformation of the lives of every single person that is helped.”
Thank you so much for visiting us again Sarah. It was such a pleasure to hear all about the work in Brazil, to share ideas and be encouraged by the passion and talent of the team over there. We are privileged to be working together in this mission, and we hope to see you again here soon! If you would like to pray for the work of Comfort International Brazil, please pray especially for:
- More volunteers as the work is ever increasing
- More sponsors to be able to greater meet the needs
- The team would love to visit the projects in Africa next year, so please pray for the finances and logistics necessary to make this a reality.
