We are very delighted to say that NYINAWUMUNTU GRACE who joined GATENGA SKR over number of years after both her parents deaths. she was chosen to be part of Rwandan traditional dancers who were performing end of last Month in (CHOGM) Common Wealth women forum as an opening session of CHOGM in Rwanda.
Grace – got this opportunity after she was trained at GATENGA street rescued kids project how to do traditional dancing as part of project activities in developing self beneficiaries talents to build self capacity.
Grace is one of beneficiaries who are able to cover half of their University school payments as Comfort Rwanda covers half as well.
We expect to get a video of her dancing along other professional traditional dancers on national level.
Grace is delighted to share this great news with a deepest thankful heart for her life transformation through street kids rescued project. She completed her high school as an accountant and working for in the University to get Bachelor in financial management.
She is number five on the line with dancing uniforms(and 4th from behind)
One of our earliest children on SKR/FoJ who is now at University being supported through the School Leavers Development Programme (SLDP) has been chosen to dance at the CHOGM conference – this is a huge honour for Comfort to see this testimony.
