With so many options of ways to volunteer with Comfort International, we wanted to showcase a couple of the options. First up is our need for someone to help us develop our case study resources. What does this mean? What does it involve?
Within the context of Comfort International’s work, case study are abbreviated versions of a community or individual’s story. Highlighting the main points where they have seen transformation and presenting them in a compelling, truthful manner.Â
Taking on this role will involve reading through reports and gleaning the nuggets that build these transformational stories and then matching them with photos and/ or videos in order to help us share these stories.
These case studies may be used to share about the work of Comfort’s partners on Social Media; in funding applications and reports; to encourage supporters and many more possibilities.
Home based – 1-3 Hours per week.
Over the last 26 years, Comfort International has seen God do so many incredible things. We have heard so many amazing testimonies. Sharing these testimonies is the heart of our publicity. Making the time to look through all the material is an important and rewarding task to undertake. This role would include:
- Reading through reports and documents to create short form and long form case studies of both individuals and whole projects.
- Matching case studies to relevant images.
- Working with publicity team to create various resources from these case studies.
